Stayed here in June and returned in July and since then the owners have added a sink unit, stove top, microwave, BBQ and everything you would need for a short break. Perfect location to sit in the awesome hot tub and watch the sun go down and the stars appear. Ideal for a day trip down to Lulworth Cove for a lovely run across the headlands towards Weymouth. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus and a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. The bed was really comfy and a decent size and the bathroom shower was soooo good! We even got engaged!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy gem in a beautiful, quiet location. The addition of a sink unit, stove top, microwave, and BBQ made it perfect for preparing our own meals. The hot tub was amazing for relaxing under the starry night sky. Although the directions were a bit frustrating, the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend The Retreat for a stress-free getaway. I would definitely recommend this place.

The value for money at this place was outstanding and the room was absolutely fantastic. The location was breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by peaceful countryside. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options to choose from.

The private accommodation was cosy and comfortable, with a comfy bed and a fantastic shower. The addition of a sink unit, stove top, microwave, and BBQ made it easy to prepare our own meals. The hot tub was excellent, providing a lovely view of the sunset and stars. We even got engaged during our stay! Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.
